Lentor Mansion is being developed by a joint venture of two of Singapore’s heavyweight property developers.

Intrepid Investments (a subsidiary of Hong Leong Holdings), teamed up with sister company GuocoLand for this collaboration. They submitted a bid of SGD$486,800,222 to acquire this URA land sale site.

In fact, both players are heavily invested in this neighbourhood. Of the six land parcels sold by URA in this new estate so far, GuocoLand and/or Hong Leong through its subsidiaries, are involved in five. These five include Lentor Modern and its mall, Lentor Hills Residences next door, and Lentoria across the road.

Intrepid Investments is a subsidiary of Hong Leong Holdings Limited, one of Singapore’s most well-known residential developers. With a history dating back to the late 1960s, Hong Leong embarked on its first venture into the real estate business then.
